  • mention的基本意思是“提到”“说起”,如口头或书面提及某人的名字,提及或简述某事物等,以引起注意。
  • mention是及物动词,可接名词、代词或动名词作宾语,还可接以that或疑问词引导的从句作宾语。可用于被动结构。
  • mention偶尔也可接以as短语充当补足语的复合宾语。
  • mention不可用于mention sb sth 结构,“对…提起…”可以说mention sb/sth to sb 或mention to sb that/wh-clause结构。
  • not to mention可用如连词,其后只接名词短语。
