Note that you do not use the word 'parking' to refer to a place where cars are parked. Instead, you talk about a
car park in British English and a
parking lot in American English.
Parking is used only to refer to the action of parking your car, or to the state of being parked... a 'No Parking' sign.
注意:停车场不能用 parking表示,在英国英语中用 car park,美国英语中用 parking lot。parking 只用来指停车的动作或车停好的状态,如:a ‘No Parking’ sign(“禁止停车”的标志)。
