  • regret既可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时,后接名词、代词、动名词或that/wh-从句作宾语。可用于被动结构。
  • regret后接名词,表示对某事后悔; 后接动词不定式表示因将要做某事而感到抱歉或不快; 后接动名词表示因做了某事而感到后悔; 后接从句表示对某事感到遗憾。
  • regret后接动词不定式的完成体也可表示对已发生之事感到遗憾、后悔,但不如接动名词常见。
